“Dear Sarah and Rich, Of course there were beautiful white sand beaches, turquoise water, perfect weather and a beautiful sailing yacht to experience and appreciate, but in the (bitter) end, it was you two who made this experience absolutely perfect and unforgetable for our family. All of us so much enjoyed getting to know you guys and hope we have the opportunity to reconnect soon.”

There was also a PS from the 17 year old daughter of “Sarah, your chocolate desserts healed my soul” and from the 11 year old son of “I had the best trip ever. It was really cool to go to a new island every day. I hope to come back soon.”

I wanted to write to you both to thank you for an amazing trip. I have already told all my friends that we all need to start planning so that we can book to come back. It was by far the best holiday I can think of. Thank you for the wonderful food and all your hard work and planning, you both FAR exceeded any of my expectations. I thought you were both fantastic.

“This was an extraordinarily important and special trip for us and Richard and Sarah’s experience, sense of humour, sensitivity and proactive nature made this the trip of a lifetime. Richard, with his cool, confident experienced captainship on display, dazzled us with his seamanship and leadership, making an indelible mark on our trip. Sarah was the smile, soul and warmth of our trip. From our daily animated briefings, to our sumptuous meals, beyond description, Sarah was the oil and music that made our trip complete. Most important to us, Richard and Sarah are beautiful hosts (and people) who look forward to sharing their love of the BVI and sailing with others. We loved every minute of us trip and look forward to reuniting with this wonderful couple to enjoy the islands again.”

“Let me start by saying that this trip was by far the best our family has experienced. Although the ages of our family of seven range from 21 to 53, you somehow were able to make us all happy. Every place you took us to was amazing and interesting to all. You both are knowledgeable and generous with your expertise. There was NOTHING that we asked for that you did not provide and our expectations were hugely exceeded…and on that note the food was fabulous!! Watching you both put together three meals a day for seven people was like watching a waltz in perfect harmony. Not only was the food delicious it was beautifully presented.

Sarah and Richard, you both were so patient, you had to teach us so many activities we were not used to…snorkeling, paddle boarding, how to get in and out of a dingy, how to drink a painkiller (or three). It was a week of a million laughs. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
