AMAYA is a beautiful Sunreef 60 Catamaran, accommodating up to 8 guests in 4 queen cabins, all ensuite with electric heads and stall showers. Each cabin is equipped with their own individual AC controls and USB outlets. All cabins are en suite with electric flush toilets and stall showers.

This galley up version features a spacious cockpit for dining, which opens onto an expansive aft deck with panoramic views. The foredeck holds additional entertainment spaces with sunken seating, sunpads, and trampolines, easily accessible through the salon or along the outside. The covered flybridge with table provides another generous vista point, and is an ideal place for lounging and enjoying a cooling cocktail.

AMAYA accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 Queen cabins, all en suite with electric flush toilets and stall showers. Each cabin is equipped with USB charging ports, basic toiletries, and hairdryers.

Charter Information

All rates are for the entire boat and are subject to change without notice prior to actual reservation, Charter Fee does not include a customary gratuity in the amount of 15-20% of the total charter fee payable to a deserving Captain and Crew upon the completion of a successful charter, All guests over 18 yrs wishing to fish in BVI must purchase a BVI license prior to boarding ask us for information, Marina dockage if applicable upon the request of the charter guests is not included, Fine wines champagnes and top shelf liquors are not included and can be purchased upon request of the charter guests at their expense, Hurricane Season is from 1st June to end of November and it is imperative that all guests purchase trip insurance. Yacht's are not responsible for clients shore side expenses if charter cancelled for named storm (this includes meals hotels transportation as well as air transport) Most yachts will allow client to rebook unused dates within 6 months of cancellation (excluding holidays).

Amaya has a crew of 3, Captain Colleen Korona & Chef Matt Proto both from USA

Captain: Colleen Korona
Colleen was born and raised Florida, where she grew up playing on the water. She bought her first sailboat when she was 24 years old, decided to live on it and then sailed it to the Bahamas. Colleen stepped out of the boating world for a while and managed a mental health office with 10 doctors for several years before moving on to working at a nuclear brain-imaging facility. Then the recession came, and she was unemployed. It didn’t take much prodding to head back out on the ocean and do more sailing. She literally sold almost everything, packed the rest up, and spent the next year sailing the East coast and exploring the cruising grounds from Florida to Rhode Island. There happened to be a group of boats heading to the Caribbean in Virginia and she though, “What the heck! Let’s check it out and head to the Caribbean!” 14 days later they arrived in Tortola, BVI. She spent another year playing,
exploring, and sailing down to Trinidad, and then the money ran out. Colleen started to pick up jobs on charter boats here and there to have some money in her pocket. Over the next few years, Colleen worked as a first mate on a tall ship and sailing day-charter boats as well as a stewardess and deckhand on a trimaran and crew on mega yachts in New England. But nothing beats working in the Caribbean! Colleen then got her captain’s license, and now feels very fortunate to have a great office at sea where she can share the beautiful place with guests.

Chef/Mate: Matt Pronto
Matt has been in the customer service industry for the past 25 years. His career as a professional chef has led him to the Caribbean where ne now uses his culinary skills to create the perfect onboard dining experience to deliver a broad spectrum of flavors and genres, keeping each new day full of fresh ideas. Matt grew up in Florida and has spent most of his life in or on the water, and he’s been an avid scuba diver since 2006. In 2012, he got rid of
everything except for one suitcase full of clothes and started doing seasonal work as a traveling chef. After living in Hawaii, Alaska, and Cozumel, he found himself in ST Thomas working in a food truck on the beach when a friend approached him with a job offer as a chef on a charter boat. This is where he met Colleen and discovered the perfect gig. Since then, Matt has combined his love of food with his love of the ocean to create the perfect charter for more than just a vacation experience – but a passion for life and nature, and the desire to share those things with like-minded individuals.

Dear Biff, Amy & Piers,
Your collective ability to have us feel so very much “at home” during our splendid and extraordinary week with you on Amaya will remain with us forever. Your high regard for each other, demonstrated in how you relate to each other respectfully, confidently and with humor and compassion, sets the stage for what is possible when experiencing Amaya.
We felt welcome and invited to engage our senses (including our sense of wonder) when experiencing sports, relaxing, meeting new people, drifting along a slow current in a snorkel or paddling through a mangrove garden. Pushing ourselves to kayak, water-ski, bush-whack, or paddleboard in quiet coves put smiles in our hearts and on our faces. Most of all, your responsiveness to our needs, the attention to detail, anticipating what we would enjoy, and preparing delicious, healthy food with care and love helped us feel connected to each other and to you.

Well, what a fabulous time we’ve had. This has been a very special week with great friends in a place in the world we’d never been to. We discovered paradise – The BVI’s, but not just an island paradise, a place that we’ve learned about thanks to your skills and enthusiasm in showcasing the best places to go – the best beaches, bars, restaurants, sand spits etc. But we’ve also experienced amazing Caribbean foods & flavors with the expert skills of Amy with culinary creations and Piers with his expert cocktail skills, table décor etc!! Biff was so enthusiastic in everything he did – his love of yachts and sailing seems to be as much as his love of wanting everyone to experience the joy of being on the water.He has imparted a huge amount of knowledge to us and shared his joy of the region.
It’s the care, diligence and genuine hospitality that’s been the best part of it all. We’ve felt like not only have all our needs been met but they’ve been over delivered upon & anticipated., And that’s what’s turned a fabulous sailing holiday into an incredible experience that would be hard to beat anywhere!

Simply The Best

Dear Amaya March 26 2022
This past week has been perfect. We could not have felt more welcomed each and every day. Every meal was delicious – so much that our 11 and 13 year old, found themselves not only trying everything but eating it too.
We have never taken a trip like this before and plan on making it annual. The BVI’s are simply beautiful . Amaya has all the frys. Everyone loved the Seabobs. To say we admire Bruce, Begona and Jess is simply an understatement. They are simply the best! We feel so blessed to have gotten a week with them. They made our trip for sure. Happy New Year – with kids

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the most incredible week on the most luxurious boat with a world class captain and crew. This is our third charter and it was by far the nicest boat and the very best service. The captain,was so accommodating and bent over backward to meet our every need as was the outstanding chef. Not only were her meals delicious and presented beautifully, she listened 100% to our pre-charter menu requests. Tihana makes an excellent pina colada and is wonderful with kids. The kids loved cooking and hanging with the crew.
