The beautiful Le Reve charters in the in Virgin Islands, Bahamas, or New England. Experience the art of living aboard Le Reve, an owner’s edition of the Essence line that is the epitome of luxury.

The three spacious air-conditioned staterooms are fitted with high end materials and furniture that allow for a nearly unprecedented level of comfort. Guests can enjoy their gourmet meals in our luxurious cockpit seating area and then lounge with a cocktail on the massive sun-deck afterwards. The gull-wing bridge deck design allows for greater comfort and smoother sailing, despite heavy seas.

Le Reve is equipped with an impressive array of water equipment, including but not limited to skis, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, kiteboarding gear, and SCUBA with a compressor.

Despite the outstanding quality of life aboard, performance is not sacrificed. With its twin 150HP Volvo engines and 1500+ square foot mainsail, Le Reve can easily reach and maintain top speeds in a variety of conditions.

Charter Information

All rates are for the entire boat and are subject to change without notice prior to actual reservation
Charter Fee does not include a customary gratuity in the amount of 15-20% of the total charter fee payable to a deserving Captain and Crew upon the completion of a successful charter.
All guests over 18 yrs wishing to fish in BVI must purchase a BVI license prior to boarding ask us for information.
Marina dockage if applicable upon the request of the charter guests is not included.
Fine wines champagnes and top shelf liquors are not included and can be purchased upon request of the charter guests at their expense.
Hurricane Season is from 1st June to end of November and it is imperative that all guests purchase trip insurance. Yacht's are not responsible for clients shore side expenses if charter cancelled for a named storm (this includes meals hotels transportation as well as air transport) Most yachts will allow client to rebook unused dates within 6 months of cancellation (excluding holidays).

Marijuana and Marijuana products, even with a medical prescription, are not allowed onboard at any time.

Meet Captain Dirk and First Mate Sandy DeLo and share in their passion for boating, fun and adventure!

After receiving his Ph.D. from Columbia University, Dirk started his career in education, ultimately working his way into the field of technology. His land-based career offered him the opportunity to work in locations around the globe such as Switzerland, Brazil and China. His last post before casting off the dock lines was serving as Chief Technology Officer for a New York City based global education company.

Dirk started sailing solo at 5 years old, crossed the Pacific Ocean from LA to Honolulu at 14 as part of a racing crew, and has been leading yacht charters around the world for over 25 years!

Some of his favorite destinations are French Polynesia and the British Virgin Islands which he first visited in 1981. He is an avid water sports enthusiast and will be happy to lead you on SCUBA dives in the best locations, snorkeling, tubing, wake boarding, knee boarding, kayaking, SUPing, deep sea fishing, and even provide an introduction to kite boarding.

Dirk also has a Mavic Pro drone aboard and will be happy to record breathtaking footage of your dream vacation aboard Le Rêve.

Captain Dirk is a highly experienced US Coast Guard certified 100 Ton Master Captain, PADI Divemaster and an award-winning bartender mixing up craft cocktails for the guests!

Chef/Captain Sandy loves preparing delicious meals for guests and introducing people to the seafaring lifestyle! She stars in her very own cooking show called “Cooking with Yacht Chef Sandy” and loves to showcase meals she makes aboard for her Roku TV and YouTube viewers.

Prior to taking to the ocean, she led the Corporate life, having worked Internationally in Australia, Italy, London, India and Thailand. She spent her first career on Wall Street in technology-related roles for a Fortune 100 Firm and a few extra years as a Management Consultant, also in Technology. These experiences have played in to the professionalism she brings to managing her galley and understanding the needs and desires of guests on board.

Sandy has been cooking since the age of 10 and she loves to get creative in the galley and serve up tasty snacks and beautiful meals to the guests. In addition to serving as Chef aboard, Sandy is also a PADI Divemaster and a USCG Certified 100 Ton Master Captain with blue water experience on the high seas. Some of Sandy’s favorite spots are the Virgin Islands (especially Waterlemon Cay!) and the Exuma Islands of the Bahamas.

Dirk and Sandy have been in the Virgin Islands charter industry since 2007, first as yacht owners with hired crew aboard. In 2013, they deepened their commitment to yachting, adding a 38’ day charter motor yacht based in New York to the fleet. 2015 brought a second motor yacht operating day charters in Long Island Sound and their charter operation was running in full swing.

Sandy and Dirk are now owner/operators of the amazing 2017 Lagoon 620 Essence Edition, Le Rêve, where their professional C-suite background, intimate knowledge of sailing and the islands, experience in hospitality, celebrity chef experience and history in the marine industry, combine to provide the penultimate experience for their charter guests. Breakfasts

Each breakfast is served with fresh in-season fruit, coffee, tea and juice.
Migas – A Southwestern-style scrambled egg dish with sautéed onions, tortilla chips, cheese and salsa. Served with sausage or bacon on the side. This is a charter guest favorite!
“Stuffed” French Toast – Traditional Pain Perdu served with a quenelle of cream cheese, cinnamon sugar and walnut “stuffing” perched on top. Maple syrup and bacon or sausage on the side.
Omeletes to Order – Classic French Omelette with your choice of assorted fillings. Served with sausage or bacon and toast with jams.
Breakfast Tacos -sausage, potato, egg salsa and cheese nestled inside soft, warm flour tortillas.
Traditional Eggs Benedict – Toasted English muffins, buttered and topped with Canadian Bacon, a gently poached egg, and blanketed with Hollandaise Sauce.
Smoked Salmon Platter – Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Onions, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Capers and Fresh Dill served with toasted English Muffins
Ultimate Banana Walnut Pancakes with Maple Syrup – The name says it all! With sausage or bacon on the side.

Stacked Seafood Salad – A delicious and nutritious hearty meal prepared salad-style. A layer of greens dressed in boat made Green Goddess dressing, topped with layers of egg salad, bacon, seasoned heirloom tomato, ripe Haas avocado, and topped with a trio of lump blue crab salad, seared ahi salad and lobster salad! Served with fresh boat-made bread. Amazingly delicious!
Grilled Shrimp Caesar – Classic Caesar Salad with grilled shrimp, home made dressing and freshly toasted croutons. Topped with Parmigiano Reggiano shavings.
Crab Cakes with Farmers Market Quinoa Salad – Lump Blue Crab Cakes topped with home made remoulade sauce served beside a Farmers’ Market Quinoa Salad featuring roasted veggies and fresh herbs
Smoked Pulled Pork Quesadillas – Smoky pork with cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce inside a tortilla grilled crispy brown. Served with Creamy Caribbean Slaw
Chimichanga Bowls – An edible bowl stuffed with Pork or Chicken Tinga, rice and beans, lettuce, avocado, salsa and sour cream
Smoked Turkey Club Sandwiches – Smoked Turkey, Swiss or Cheddar, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato with boat made herbed aioli. Served with chips on the side.
Tuna Avocado Wrap – Great for lunch underway. Delicious tuna salad with creamy avocado slices wrapped in a handy package that’s easy to enjoy when the boat is moving. Served with chips.
Chicken Salad Medley – Why choose when you can have both? Traditional Chicken Salad and Caribbean Curried Chicken Salad served over greens with your choice of bread, crackers or lettuce wraps on the side.
Chef’s Salad: turkey, ham, hard boiled eggs, cheeses and veggies over greens with Chef’s Special dressing and boat made toasty garlic crutons
Individual Rustic Spinach and Bacon Quiches – Light and creamy eggs with spinach, bacon and a mix of cheeses nestled inside a flaky crust. Served fresh from the oven with a side salad.
New England-Style Lobster Roll – When fresh lobster is available, there’s no better lunch than a Lobster Roll! Succulent chunks of lobster mixed with mayo, celery, chive and lemon, piled high on a grilled split-top roll. A side of potato chips complement this quintessential New England-style treat.
Moo Shu Pork or Chicken with Veggie Fried Rice – delicious Asian-style pork or chicken stir fried with crisp veggies and served with boat made pancakes. Crispy Veggie Fried Rice served on the side.

Cocktail Hour Snacks

Crab Avocado Mango Stack – Bottom layer of mango salsa, middle layer of ripe avocado and top layer of succulent lump crab mixed with remoulade sauce. Served with crackers and tortilla chips.
Mediteranean Charcuterie – boat made hummus, dry salami or chorizo, feta cheese, gourmet olives and crudite served with pita chips.
Mahi Mahi or Wahoo Ceviche – Tender, boat-caught fish marinated in lime juice with tomato, onion, cilantro and seasonings. Served with corn chips.
Spinach Artichoke Spread – A classic favorite. Cheesy spinach and artichokes served warm with crusty bread and crackers
Artisanal Cheese Board – Assorted Cow, Goat and Sheep’s Milk Cheeses, Dry Salami, Fruits, Nuts and Crackers
Ahi Tuna Poke – Boat caught Ahi tuna tossed with avocado, soy sauce, sesame oil, seasonings and green onions.
Spicy Garlic Chicken Flatbread – A unique twist on a classic. A garlicky chicken mixture with mozzarella cheese atop a crispy crust.
Ahi Avo Nachos – Sesame wonton crisps topped with seared ahi tuna, silky avocado, a touch of wasabi mayo and a garnish of seaweed salad. Accompanied by sweet pickled ginger.

The food was very good. I was particularly impressed with her ability to navigate our situation which included 1 vegetarian, 2 lactose intolerant, and 1 committed carnivore. All the meals prepared had something that made everyone happy and I’m sure it wasn’t easy to construct a menu within those constraints for 3 meals a day.

We had poor weather for half the trip but our Captain made sure we had safe harbor and as smooth a ride as possible under the conditions. We also found things to do (the hydrofoil, scuba diving) where the lack of sunshine didn’t matter too much. They also extend our trip by a half day so that once we did have sun we could take the gang to the Soggy Dollar Bar. That was very much appreciated by me and the team.

The boat was great – good size for the 6 of us with plenty of space to gather together while also plenty of outside space if someone wanted to be off by themself reading.

Dirk and Sandy overall were very delightful and we enjoyed getting to know them. Dirk was a master cocktail maker and as noted above Sandy kept us all happily fed.

We would certainly book with them again if we do this trip in the future.

“John B.! John B! John B.!” (this is a reference to Le Rêve starring in the hit series Outer Banks.)We had such a great last sailing with you guys! Tethered swims, floating in the water chairs, and of course the infamous Dirk rescue mission to save the fallen beer and coozie! We knew Dirk was the man for the mission – it was like watching a member of seal team six spring into action as Dirk dove from the boat with precise and determined focus. surfacing minutes later successful – fulfilling the mission objective.

Sandy, broken foot and all, danced around the galley preparing beautiful and delicious meals for us to enjoy – not the run of the mill fare but tastes and aromas that made each meal and experience we thoroughly enjoyed. Then there were the appetizers on the flybridge completely twinkling stars and a beautiful full moon… We could go on (to quote “Steve Perry from the band Journey) and on and on and on! Dear Sandy and Dirk, what an incredible once in a lifetime experience! I said years ago for my 40th I dreamed of going on a boat with dear friends. You made my dream come true and beyond! I’ll never forget getting my piña colada served my ocean seat and my wine at sunset in the water watching stars come out, or tubing to Saba rock! So much laughter! And relaxation and beauty! And you both bring such a sense of calm and ease to everything. The food is SENSATIONAL, gorgeous, delicious and nutritious! Such a glorious time and a dream come true. It’s hard to express how wonderful you have made this past week. You welcomed us into your home and treated us like favorite family members! How did you find your crew? Were they friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating?
Dirk and Sandy were one of a kind. They were amazing hosts and we have even been communicating with them since we’ve returned. We absolutely love them. They were fantastic in every sense of the word, and we could not have asked for a better crew; Kind, knowledgeable, fun, experienced, and simply great to be around.Was the yacht comfortable, clean and well ventilated? What was your favorite aspect of the yacht?
Le Reve was pristine and spacious. We loved all the different areas to “hang out.” Additionally, we certainly appreciated the freshwater maker, scuba locker with tank refilling capabilities, air conditioning, tender, shower on the stern, and ensuite bathrooms. The beds were more comfortable than home! She was a beauty.Was the food enjoyable and well presented? Did the chef customize the menu to your preferences?
Every meal was out of this world. Sandy is an outstanding Chef! We met prior and she customized the menu based on our conversations. Scale of 1-10, we’d give her a 12! She was even willing to share her recipes. It’s clear she loves what she does and it’s even more clear that she’s a rock star at it! It’s also worth noting that not only was Dirk a great captain, but he also whipped up some amazing cocktails for us (we are still craving them stateside). Additionally, he was one heck of a lobster hunter and experienced Dive master.Did you enjoy the itinerary and the area you sailed?
Winds were light so we didn’t get to go under sail much, but moreover, we were extremely happy to have the calmer waters. It was a great balance of water activities and relaxing. We loved all our destinations and candidly wish we were there now!

We celebrated a week with family and friends in a charter over New Year’s. It will be a time we will never forget. Our experience aboard Le Rêve was awesome.. Captain Dirk and Chef Katy (who filled in for Chef Sandy since she was filming her cooking show in New York) were fantastic they took us to save a rock for New Year’s Eve, foil boarding, cave exploring, epic snorkeling, serene sales on the blue water side of Cooper, Norman and five star meals we can go on… Thank you for everything! – The Kirkuk and Piceu Families

Captain Dirk and Chef Sandy –

Where to begin? The moment we set sail we knew it was going to be an experience of a lifetime! The ocean and island views were just breathtaking! The hues of the ocean water will be forever embedded in our minds.

Anthony’s SCUBA expeditions were the best he has ever experienced. Our favorite stops… Ann at Tipsy’s, the Soggy Dollar experience, Hendo’s for some delicious cocktails, Saba Rock ‘cool bar’ with tarpon feeding and of course Strawberry at Sidney’s. the best lobster we’ve ever had!

And of course, the food, the food, the food! and wine! 🙂 Sandy, your love for cooking and serving others was evident in every bite. We savored each meal ad look so forward to your cookbook one day!

We thank you for a week of spectacular fun and adventure! From Sipping Sunday to Sad Face Saturday we enjoyed sensational sunrises and sunsets with rainbows every day!

We loved swimming, snorkeling, seeing the turtles, skiing in the blue Caribbean waters, sailing, cigar smoking, star gazing and SCUBA diving for spiny lobsters! The food was beyond delicious with the additions of fresh caught mackerel and tacos at Lime Out.

You mixed the best cocktails and we loved hearing Dirk say “Does anyone need a beverage?”

Captains Dirk and Sandy –

We’ve had a marvelous sail and getaway in the USVI. Your thoughtfulness and attention to every detail were just what I remembered from New England and you on my radar for the Caribbean trip I really wanted to share and introduce the experience to Tucker and Morgan. It was an added bonus to close the circle by having Laurel and Philippe here and of course, Bill was with us, too!

Le Rêve is remarkable in her comfort and performance – clearly you are proud, but worthy owners and stewards of the ship. Special thanks for celebrating my birthday on the 1st night – it was a great start.

You may not realize, but the trip was especially relaxing because we escaped the daily nagging of Covid in the background of our lives back home. Wishing you much success and happiness on all of your future cruises. Greg

Thanks for the cruise, we came back to be hosted by Sandy and Dirk like our last trip on Catatonic years ago. The discovery of the USVI was worth the travel as we enjoyed snorkeling in cool water to see so many fish with nice colors. The question now is where we will come back… Best wishes. Philippe

So wonderful to be back with our favorite crew Captain Dirk and Magic Chef Mate Sandy. It seems hard to imagine a more exciting trip than our 2018 NE Venture, but Le Rêve is just that – so beautifully appointed and wonderfully spacious.

From gourmet meals, painkiller cocktails to turtle watching, snorkeling and paddle boarding, truly magical.

Sandy and Dirk, this has been such an incredible week aboard Le Rêve. Getting to know you both and experience your brand of hospitality has been a real treat and the level of service, food and cocktails exceeded my highest expectations.

While I was not on the first family cruise, I can picture how pleased Bill was with you both and the trip and that brings me joy.

Memories from this trip will include but not be limited to learning to snorkel, loving it, swimming with turtles, enjoying painkillers and sunset, paddle boarding with Laurel and attracting tarpon with flashlights and simply lounging all over the boat in truly perfect weather.

I generally find it hard to relax and unplug from my job at this point in life but this trip did it (whole next level) largely due to you both ensuring everything was handled and no one needed to worry. Hoping our paths cross again aboard Le Rêve or otherwise. Best, Turner
