Miss Summer is a lovely Lagoon 450 and flybridge version with 4 cabins. Well known to be spacious for its size, with multiple areas to enjoy, especially with the front cockpit sofa, the trampolines, the sun beds plus the sofa on the flybridge. Not to forget the aft cockpit that offers a good shade sitting area for outdoor dining.

The 3 guest cabins are airy and bright, with comfortable queen size beds, able to accommodate up to 6 guests. All cabins are individually air-conditioned and have separate bathrooms with fully electric toilets.

Miss Summer is well looked after and being cared for by the owners, which happen to be the crew on board. This yacht is always kept in tip-top condition, which includes upgrades and updating after a refit in 2020 and 2023.

The crew has been sailing the British Virgin Island since 2015 and know all the highlights and hidden gems. On Miss Summer you will feel at home and safe while cruising the beautiful waters of BVI, enjoying cocktails and gourmet meals served on board.

Charter Information

All rates are for the entire boat and are subject to change without notice prior to actual reservation
Charter Fee does not include a customary gratuity in the amount of 15-20% of the total charter fee payable to a deserving Captain and Crew upon the completion of a successful charter.
All guests over 18 yrs wishing to fish in BVI must purchase a BVI license prior to boarding ask us for information.
Marina dockage if applicable upon the request of the charter guests is not included.
Fine wines champagnes and top shelf liquors are not included and can be purchased upon request of the charter guests at their expense.
Hurricane Season is from 1st June to end of November and it is imperative that all guests purchase trip insurance. Yacht's are not responsible for clients shore side expenses if charter cancelled for a named storm (this includes meals hotels transportation as well as air transport) Most yachts will allow client to rebook unused dates within 6 months of cancellation (excluding holidays).

Miss Summer has a crew of 2, Captain: Per Skogsberg & Chef/Mate: Lina Nilsson, both are from Sweden

Per, also called "Captain Swede", has traded the cold and dark waters of Sweden to the wonderful waters of the Virgin Islands and other Caribbean islands. He is the captain on board Miss Summer.
Lina has a more pronounce friendly name and is simply called Lina. She will be your chef on board Miss Summer, and stand-in captain if needed. Lina is a certified yacht chef, trained at Ashburton Chefs Academy in UK, and she will do her very best to give all guests a nice food experience.

They are both social persons and love to meet new people.
Lina started sailing during childhood, and Per got hocked when they started sailing together over 15 years ago. They first came to the Caribbean in 2015. Together they have had the pleasure to sail the Caribbean waters up and down, but mainly been sailing in the British Virgin Island. Which since 2019 is their home base. Per and Lina bought Miss Summer in May 2019 and has since then been doing crewed charter in BVI.
They will gladly guide you through the islands and take you to the places on your bucket list and to all the other beautiful places you didn't know about. On board they will give you a touch of Scandinavia while you are sailing the Caribbean waters.

Before transitioning into this profession Per worked as a business developer for many years and as a business coach with early startups. Lina has a science in engineering degree and has run a project management and consultancy company for more than 15 years.
Both are certified captains and will at all times put your safety on board first! However, that has never made them fail in giving their guests a wonderful and memorable charter.

Together they hold the following certifications and have passed tests and/or training for:
• Coastal Yacht Master
• Inshore Yacht Master
• Practical boat training incl. darkness diploma
• BVI boat master
• Yacht chef certificate, Ashburton Chefs Academy
• STCW – basic safety. Including Personal Safety, Fire, Survival and First Aid.

Breakfast

A mix between buffet and served breakfast that comes with Tea, Coffee & Juice:
Fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, chia pudding with chocolate and banana
Eggs; Omelet, boiled, poached, scrambled or sunny eggs with bacon and sausages
Swedish and American Pancakes with fresh fruit

Smoked Salmon and avocado on fresh baked bread with a couscous salad

Shrimp pasta with chili and garlic, fresh basil, parsley and arugula topped with cherry tomato and parmesan cheese
Tender flank steak with garlic, chili and herb butter, sautéed vegetables, and baked potato
Salmon with creamy lemon and dill sauce and new potato
Seafood stew with shrimps, mussels, mahi cooked with fennel, garlic and chili in white wine and tomato
Thai Chicken Curry in coconut milk, with vegetables, lime, fresh cilantro and rice

Dessert (or afternoon Swedish “fika”)

Sticky chocolate cake with cream and berry coulis
Warm apple tart with creamy vanilla souse

The week we spent on the Miss Summer was the trip of a lifetime. Lina and Per were amazing hosts with an impeccable boat. They were professional, welcoming, informative and made the trip unforgettable. Lina’s food was fabulous and I still can’t believe she can produce such tasty and beautifully presented food in such a small galley, she is truly talented. She also makes an amazing Pain killer! I would recommend utilizing the private water taxi to get to them vs. the ferry from St Thomas which was both late and a little scary plus they clear customs for you. Thank you again guys for making my 50th birthday trip unforgettable

Swimming with the sea turtles and snorkeling the sea caves.

I don’t think I can say enough good things about our experience. We met Lina & Per just outside of Tortola pier park for a private day sailing with a party of 12, including some children as young as 4. Lina & Per were/are super friendly and accommodating. They provided a delicious light lunch, snacks, and lots of different beverages. The Painkiller drinks for adults were really tasty. The provided snorkel gear looked brand new, and was top quality equipment. The boat was also looked brand new, was very nice, and had plenty of space. We saw lots of turtles, corals, tropical fish, and sea caves. Lina & Per gave us a perfect day of snorkeling and fun. Skip the other cruise ship excursions (we arrived on Norwegian) and book with Lina and Per!

A memory for life

We went on a private tour to the Baths. Over all a super nice experience.
The “stone caves” at the Baths was fun to explore and we also made a stop on the way at Cooper Island, to do some snorkeling.
We brought our own snorkeling gear, but the snorkels and fins offered on the boat was good.
The boat was really nice. Thumbs up for the food and drinks.
We can highly recommend going with captain Swede and Lina, they made this tour fantastic, thank you!We will come BACK

The Best in the BVI!

Lina and Per welcomed us on a day adventure, escaping the world and rejuvenated our bodies and minds with what is important about life. This is THE private charter to take in the BVI. The boat is beautiful, they took us to the best places for snorkeling and fun. Lina made us a scrumptious lunch and Per was full of stories and information. Try Lina’s sticky cake (Swedish Name?) and the their home made pain killer with extra nutmeg! Lina and Per bring a Scandinavian flair and experience to your BVI holiday.
