Yacht Description

Ohana is a 60 ft Horizon Power Catamaran available for crewed charter in BVI and Bahamas.  Ohana is elegant,  built for comfort and space with a layout that will not disappoint. This modern power cat can accommodate 7 people in 3 cabins..King with ensuite, Queen with ensuite plus a twin can convert to a king and has a pullman for a 7th guest
The master king stateroom is remarkable for it spreads right across the yacht with panoramic views directly in front of the bed. The head or ensuite bathroom boasts a surfboard themed shower!!
Outside will not disappoint for space with elegant dining area and flybridge. The flybridge can be fully enclosed with a/c which is another dining area with bar and BBQ.

Charter Information

  • All rates are for the entire boat and are subject to change without notice prior to actual reservation
  • Charter Fee does not include a customary gratuity in the amount of 15-20% of the total charter fee payable to a deserving Captain and Crew upon the completion of a successful charter
  • All guests over 18 yrs wishing to fish in BVI must purchase a BVI license prior to boarding ask us for information
  • Marina dockage if applicable upon the request of the charter guests is not included
  • Fine wines champagnes and top shelf liquors are not included and can be purchased upon request of the charter guests at their expense
  • Hurricane Season is from 1st June to end of November and it is imperative that all guests purchase trip insurance. Yacht's are not responsible for clients shore side expenses if charter cancelled for named storm (this includes meals hotels transportation as well as air transport) Most yachts will allow client to rebook unused dates within 6 months of cancellation (excluding holidays).

Capt. Stuart Mackie and Chef/Mate Hannah Angel (UK)

Stu and Hannah have been working on charter boats for over 5 years in the BVI and Bahamas. They have a passion for hospitality and strive to do their best to give their guests a vacation of a lifetime.

Stu and Hannah met in 2013 in their home town of Southampton in the UK. Stu was working on a mega yacht, and during his second season aboard, whilst on a period of leave, he met Hannah. They decided to pursue a career together, and after a season in Turkey, came to the British Virgin Islands to work on charter catamarans.

Having grown up in Scotland, a stone’s throw from the sea, Stu has loved being on and around the water since childhood. In 2011 he decided to pursue his dream of sailing. After training for a year including a Trans-Atlantic, he left the UK to work on 250 ft mega yacht. Stu loves to share his knowledge of yachting and the local marine life. He has a passion for free diving, spear fishing, scuba diving, game fishing and all water sports.

Hannah has worked in multiple areas of hospitality during her career and is a graduate of the award winning Ashburton School of Cookery in the UK, where she worked with many talented chefs. She loves creating fun, fresh foods that look and taste amazing. Hannah has a bubbly personality and loves the social side of her work. She adores meeting new people and will make you laugh with her funny stories.

Stu and Hannah are an easy going couple that will focus your charter around your ideas. They want you to do the things you enjoy most at your preferred pace – relaxed or what’s next. Whether it is your first or fifth time to the BVI or the Bahamas, Stu and Hannah will help you explore the unique locations from the highlights to the lesser known anchorages and private coves.

Breakfast

Each morning you will be served Coffee, selection of teas, fruit juices, fresh fruit, toast and selection of preserves and cereal
Eggs Benedict
Toasted English muffin topped with crispy bacon, lightly wilted spinach and a soft poached egg, finished with freshly made hollandaise sauce
Avocado Smash
Fresh toast, smashed avocado. heirloom tomatos,radish, feta, beet hummus topped with a poached egg fiished with a drizzled of chili oil.

BLLT (Like a BLT but with Lobster!) Bacon, grilled Lobster, Lettuce and Tomato served in a soft wrap with a chipotle mayo.
Salmon Nicoise Salmon flaked over salad leaves, crisp green beans, cherry tomatoes, black olives, soft boiled egg, baby potatoes all topped with freshly shaved parmesan and finished with a lemon French dressing
Greek Salad with Meatballs Hannah’s homemade meatballs served with tomatoes, cucumber, black olives and feta with a Greek dressing. Served with Hannah’s flatbread and fresh tzatziki.
Caribbean Shrimp Salad Mango, Pineapple and Lychee salad served in a taco bowl, dressed with Honey Chili shrimp, coated in a creamy lime dressing
Asian Style Beef Salad Seared fillet of beef with a salad of red cabbage, carrot, snow peas and Asian noodles smothered in a toasted sesame and soy dressing
Ohana Cheeseburger in Paradise Hannah’s Homemade beef burger oozing with mozzarella, served with truffle fries
Classic Caesar Salad Succulent chicken with charred baby gem, coconutty croutons, egg, Caesar dressing and a bacon crumb. All served in a parmesan basket.

Dear Stu and Hannah,
It is not an exaggeration to say that you have changed our lives this week. We boarded Ohana with some trepidation about whether we would enjoy a charter cruise; we will debark today not only having extended our first cruise from 3 days to 7, but with three additional future cruises with you already booked.
Every element of our experience has been a pleasant surprise, from Hannah’s Michelin-level cuisine to he pleasures of “deep” underwater snorkeling, safely escorted by Stu, the expert underwater photographer. We are so appreciate your incredibly high lever of service, attention to detail, and over all kindness in accommodating our requests and making us feel completely at ease at all times. You have utterly spoiled us this week, and we are now charter cruise converts. Thank you most sincerely for absolutely everything.

Christmas Charter BVI 2018
Dear Stu and Hannah,
The Goodwyn gang cannot begin to thank you enough for making our Christmas vacation so absolutely unforgettable! each port exceeded our wildest expectations – from snorkeling Diamond Cay and the Bubbly Pool, to The Dogs, To Anegada where we rode scooters and caught lobsters and conch. Fishing was a highlight catching 3 Wahoo and 5 Blackfin Tuna!!!! Our tattoos from Michael Beans show lasted the whole trip!
Dinner at The Wonky Dog did not compare to anything Hannah could magically whip up onboard. Jet skiing in Leverick Bay and the tour around the outside of the island was incredible! Christmas Day spent at The Baths and Little Harbour was unsurpassable! The sub-wing, turtles, night dive and Christmas DINNER!!! (Where Hannah finally defeated us) Made all Christmases to come a hard act to follow.
Snorkeling the Indians was among the best and our hike up Norman “mountain” helped prepare us for the next meal! We are sad to be leaving but we cannot thank you enough for making this the trip of a lifetime!!! until next time……
P.S The boys unanimously agree Hannah can make anything taste good!
